Back moving again

It has been a long week of sitting on my @ss not doing a darn thing. My last "workout" was my bike to work on Tuesday. I did play softball on Thursday night which just about killed me. The muscles in my hip and lower back got so tight. At the beginning of the game I could not move quick at all, but by the end, I was making some sort of effort to move. I ended up just going to the bar after and drinking. I think that helped because by the end of the night, it felt much better :) Friday, I did not do anything. I mean absolutely anything. I slept, slept some more, went to the chiropractor, and then slept. It was great. Saturday: Slept until noon. Got up and got moving. This loosened my back up enough and so I attempted to mow lawn. Accomplished. The starting of the mower was the toughest, but good thing I just put in new spark plugs so it only took 2 pulls. Didn't do much of anything else the rest of the day. I went for a ride around the block on my bike to see if I could go out on Sunday. It felt good. I stretched out my back and hips as much as I could. That seemed to help because when I got up Sunday morning, it felt pretty good. I was going to attempt to run. I grabbed the dog and headed out for a 20 min run, 2 min walk, 10 min run. I felt great as long as I kept perfect form. Soon as I started twisting or leaning a little bit, my back reminded me to stand back up. I was running very easy and relaxed, but little did I know I was running at an 8 min/mile. Awesome. Maybe I need to hurt my back more often so I stay relaxed. My last 10 min run ended mid hill so I was going to finish the hill and jog slow to get my heart rate back down. Ended up running for 13 min and then finished with a 5 min walk. Got home and stretched. I think I am going to add a bike in also. I went to the store/mall first because I knew if I did the bike first I would not make it there. It was also still chilly and kind of rainy. It was suppose to clear up so I figured when I got back I would go. Waiting, Waiting, Waiting. Still cold and rainy. Before I knew it, it was 5. Crap. I better get going. I ventured out. Was planning on only going for 30 min, but felt so good to get out, it ended up being an hour bike, with a little messing around in the park with my transitions. I feel pretty confident on my ability to get my shoes on and off on the bike. Tonight I am getting in the pool and then doing another short run. A solid 25 min run. I am excited to start building up that time. I only have 2 weeks before my first race to get my run distance up so my foot is ready to go. All in all I feel good today and just hope this keeps progressing in favor of me and not more pain.
